Cuba Creditors Agree to Defer Payments Under 2015 Arrangement

Representatives of the group of Cuba creditors met with the Cuban government on June 9 in Paris and agreed to defer payments under the 2015 Arrangement, the group said in a statement.

• Creditors and the govt “confirmed their willingness to preserve the 2015 Arrangement and their commitment to ensure the full implementation of this arrangement, which is a key milestone and entailed a normalization of financial relationships between the Group of Creditors of Cuba and the Republic of Cuba”, according to the statement
