Credit Suisse Can Subpoena Katerra Over Loss Claim, Judge Rules

A U.S. judge has ruled that Credit Suisse Group AG can subpoena documents from a subsidiary of Katerra Inc. to aid the bank’s legal claims against SoftBank Group Corp. over losses tied to the collapse of Greensill Capital.

The Swiss bank said in court filings it needs information from Katerra Cayman for “a planned court proceeding in England” against SoftBank, a major shareholder in the U.S.-based construction company Katerra. A federal judge in Arizona granted the subpoena request on Wednesday.
