CREDIT DAYBOOK AMERICAS: UBS Opens Week’s High-Grade Bond Deals

UBS has kicked off what syndicate desks project will be a $55 billion week of US investment-grade bond sales, immediately following the market’s busiest week of 2025.

  • The Swiss bank’s two-tranche offering occurred as Google parent Alphabet started a six-part sales of notes in euros and Verizon is poised to issue debt in both euros and sterling
  • A big buyout was announced Monday morning, with Kimberly-Clark reaching a mostly-stock deal to acquire Kenvue
    • JPMorgan has committed $7.7 billion of bridge financing for the acquisition, which is poised to be funded in part by issuance of new debt
