CREDIT DAYBOOK AMERICAS: Risk Gauge Widens; IG Sales Near View

A measure of credit risk, the CDX IG, is widening in early trading in New York and weekly investment-grade volume is approaching dealers’ estimates of $30 billion after Tuesday’s eight borrowers brought the week’s total to over $26 billion. Owens & Minor’s $500 million junk bond that will help fund its acquisition of Apria is still the only deal in the high-yield market.
