Credit fear gauges improved to start the week, mirroring broader market sentiment even as fighting continues between Israel and Iran.

  • The Markit CDX North American Investment Grade Index, which falls when perceived credit risk declines, dropped 0.9 basis point in the opening minutes of Monday trading to 55 basis points
    • A similar gauge for junk bonds that rises as that risk drops logged a 0.2 point gain to 106.5
    • Both measures on Friday worsened the most since May 21
