Court Confirms Orleans Homebuilders Inc.'s Chapter 11 Plan; Will Emerge by Year End

Orleans Homebuilders Inc. announced Dec. 1 that the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware confirmed its modified second amended joint plan of reorganization (In re Orleans Homebuilders Inc.).

Debtors Orleans Homebuilders Inc. and 29 affiliates filed for Chapter 11 protection on March 1, 2010 (22 BBLR 341, 3/11/10). The Bensalem, Pa.-based company develops, builds, and markets single family homes and townhouses, operating in the following 11 distinct markets: Southeastern Pa.; Central and Southern N.J.; Orange County, N.Y.; Charlotte, Raleigh and Greensboro, N.C.; Richmond and Tidewater, Va.; Chicago, Ill.; and Orlando, Fla.
