Cosi Seeks to Reopen Bankruptcy After Surviving Pandemic

Cosi Inc. is looking to reopen its Chapter 11 case that the fast-casual restaurant operator was forced to abandon in order to seek government pandemic aid.

Cosi filed Thursday a request to reopen the case in the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, after having reached an agreement with key creditors on a reorganization plan.

Cosi initially filed bankruptcy in February 2020, just weeks before pandemic-related shutdowns. The shutdown contributed to a revenue drop of 80%, the company said.
