Bankrupt Comcar Industries Inc. plans to sell one of its trucking units to a Jacksonville, Fla., trucking company for $4.07 million, bouncing back from another deal that fell apart last month.
Comcar, a hauling service provider, asked Monday for bankruptcy court permission to sell substantially all the assets of its CCC Transportation unit to Florida Rock & Tank Lines if an auction scheduled for Aug. 5 doesn’t bring in a higher price.
