Colony Capital to Buy Abraaj’s Latam Private Equity Platform

Colony Capital and the existing management of Abraaj’s private equity platform in Latin America will acquire the operations out of liquidation and rebrand them as Colony Latam Partners.

• Deal close seen in 1Q
• Partners Miguel Angel Olea Sisniega, Hector Martinez Fry, Gerardo Mendoza Llanes and Eduardo Cortina Murrieta will continue to lead the operations
• Co. currently manages over $500 million and has deployed over $700 million across 22 investments since establishment in 2006
• Deal agreed with joint provisional liquidators PwC and Deloitte
