Citigroup Hires Deutsche Bank’s Mansfield as Head of EMEA M&A

Citigroup Inc. has appointed William Mansfield from Deutsche Bank AG to lead its mergers and acquisitions business in the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Mansfield is expected to join the bank in September, according to an internal memo seen by Bloomberg News. He will take up a role left by Robin Rousseau and Barry Weir, who have been co-running Citigroup’s M&A business in the region.

Rousseau will become global chair of M&A and Weir will become vice chair of M&A following Mansfield’s arrival, the memo shows.
