Celsius Loses Push To File Late Bankruptcy Claim Against Voyager

A judge denied Celsius Network LLC’s bid to claw back about $7.7 million worth of cryptocurrency from Voyager Digital LLC, saying Celsius should have known about a deadline to submit claims because the two bankrupt crypto firms are advised by the same lawyers.

Celsius, which missed the Oct. 3, 2022 deadline to submit claims in the Voyager bankruptcy, failed to support its motion to file its claim late, US Bankruptcy Judge Michael E. Wiles said at a Tuesday hearing. He rejected Celsius’s request but said it can make other arguments or present new evidence later.
