Casas Bahia Says Court Approved Extrajudicial Recovery Plan

Grupo Casas Bahia says a Sao Paulo bankruptcy court approved the company’s extrajudicial recovery plan in its entirety, according to a filing.

• Court dismissed objections to the plan referred to in a prior filing
• With plan approval, reprofiling of unsecured financial debts resulting from local notes and CCBs subject to the plan becomes effective and binding as regards all the financial creditors
