Casa Systems Files for Bankruptcy, Kicks Off Sale Process

Communications technology company Casa Systems filed for bankruptcy with plans to sell itself.

The Andover, Massachusetts-based firm voluntarily sought Chapter 11 protection in Delaware on Wednesday, listing assets and liabilities of between $100 million and $500 million each in its bankruptcy petition, court papers show.

The company has already reached a deal to sell its 5G Mobile Core and RAN businesses to Lumine Group, asking the bankruptcy court to allow the transaction to be completed by the end of April, according to a statement.
