Car transporter Jack Cooper Ventures Inc. won a bid to dismiss its bankruptcy case after selling all assets.
The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia Nov. 19 approved the Chapter 11 case closure after the company asked the court earlier this month for permission to dissolve outside of bankruptcy.
The case will officially close next month after the court rules on fee requests filed by lawyers for the company and an unsecured creditors committee.
