Cano Petroleum Inc. has successfully emerged from the Chapter 11 process after its plan was confirmed by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas July 16 (In re Cano Petroleum Inc., Bankr. N.D. Tex., Case No. 12-31549-bjh11).
The Irving, Texas-based company filed for Chapter 11 protection along with eight of its affiliated entities March 7 (24 BBLR 398, 3/22/12).
Cano Petroleum Inc. is an independent oil and natural gas company with assets located onshore in the United States in Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma, according to court documents.
