Camden Diocese Must Reveal Names of Accused Priests, Judge Rules

The Diocese of Camden in New Jersey must release the names of dozens of priests and others who have been accused of sexual misconduct as part of its Chapter 11 case, a bankruptcy judge ruled.

Judge Jerrold N. Poslusny of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey at a hearing Thursday overruled objections from the diocese and insurers to keep sealed documents that contain the names of priests and others accused of misconduct by sexual abuse survivors.
