Byju’s Judge Says Missing $533 Million Raises ‘Serious Concerns’

A small, Florida hedge fund that allegedly helped Indian tech firm Think & Learn Pvt. hide $533 million must face questions from a bankrupt company that is trying to recover the cash on behalf of lenders, a judge ruled Friday.

US Bankruptcy Judge John Dorsey approved a quicker-than-normal process for lawyers to try to track down money that belongs to bankrupt Byju’s Alpha Inc., a shell company taken over by lenders owed $1.2 billion.
