Brazil’s Azul Says It Reaches Deal With Unsecured Creditors

Azul SA said it reached an agreement with a committee representing the company’s unsecured creditors on a plan to advance the Brazilian airline’s financial restructuring following a bankruptcy filing in the US.

“We continue to advance in our restructuring process with the support of our key stakeholders, including our unsecured creditors with whom we have reached an agreement, following constructive negotiations,” Azul Chief Executive Officer John Rodgerson said in an email statement.
