Boy Scouts Reach Deal With Main Creditor Group on Abuse Payments

The official committee for people abused as Boy Scouts reached a settlement with the bankrupt scouting organization on a plan to set up a $2.7 billion fund for victims, according to court documents.

  • The settlement, announced by a court-appointed mediator on Thursday, removes one of biggest obstacles to the Boy Scouts’ bankruptcy-exit plan
