Bove Says Trump’s Letter Is Game On for Fannie, Freddie (1)

A newly released letter from former President Donald Trump to Senator Rand Paul, which states he would have fired Mel Watt as Federal Housing Finance Agency Director and ordered Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to be released from their conservatorships, could be a major boon for shareholders, according to Odeon Capital analyst Dick Bove. Analysts at Bloomberg Intelligence say it probably won’t make any difference as far as the litigation is concerned.
