Bondy Joins National Bank of Canada in Fixed Income in New York

Todd Bondy has joined National Bank of Canada as the co-head of fixed-income sales and trading in New York, focusing on high yield and leveraged finance, according to people familiar with the matter.

Bondy will focus on arranging US dollar deals for Canadian issuers, according to the people, who declined to be identified discussing private matters. He replaces Noel Heavey, and will report to Chris Miller, the bank’s head of trading.

Bondy most recently worked at Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group and was previously at Royal Bank of Canada. His co-head in New York is Mike Donnelly.
