An attorney representing a foreclosed Beverly Hills mansion requested to withdraw from the property’s bankruptcy case, citing an “irreparably broken” relationship with the owner.
Michael Jay Berger, who has represented 620 Arkell Drive House LLC since it filed for bankruptcy in May, asked to exit the case after the property owner refused to cooperate and follow legal advice, according to a June 13 filing in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California.
