Bar Louie Gets Approval to Pay Wages, Access Bankruptcy Loan

Bar Louie Restaurants got permission to pay employee wages and access up to $8 million through a bankruptcy loan in the interim period.

  • U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Mary Walrath said in court on Tuesday that Bar Louie can pay up to $3.9 million in employee wages and salaries on an interim basis
    • Walrath also gave the company permission to enter the motion to pay wages ahead of time to speed up the payment of $650,000 of payroll due to employees tomorrow
  • After lawyers and the U.S. Trustee revised the motion to approve debtor-in-possession financing, Bar Louie also got permission to access ...
