Bankruptcy Judge Tells Plan Agent to Weigh in on Jackson Walker

The agent running what’s left of a bankrupt hand sanitizer company must weigh in on a fee dispute surrounding Jackson Walker LLP following a former judge’s ethics scandal.

David Dunn, a Province LLC principal in charge of overseeing 4E Brands Northamerica LLC’s Chapter 11 liquidation plan, has until Feb. 5 to tell key players in the bankruptcy whether he’ll try to disgorge fees from the Texas law firm, US Bankruptcy Judge Marvin Isgur of the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas said at a hearing Wednesday.
