Medical testing company uBiome Inc.'s effort to reorganize in bankruptcy is over as a Delaware bankruptcy judge ordered the Chapter 11 case converted to a Chapter 7 liquidation.
Judge Laurie S. Silverstein of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware said Oct. 10 that she will grant the company’s conversion motion early Oct. 11. In Chapter 7, an independent trustee will be appointed to take over administering the case and all of uBiome’s assets.
