Bankrupt Nikola to Sell Remaining EV Trucks, IP to Hyroad Energy

Bankrupt electric-vehicle maker Nikola Corp. picked hydrogen truck company Hyroad Energy to purchase its remaining intellectual property and a fleet of electric trucks.

Austin-based Simoneta Ltd., doing business as Hyroad, would buy 103 fuel cell electric trucks and a broad range of patents, trademarks, copyrights, and website domains for $3.85 million, Nikola said in a sale motion filed Thursday in the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
