Major Model Management Inc. has asked a bankruptcy court to reject a model’s push to continue her suit accusing the agency of violating wage and hourly laws.
The modeling agency’s motion, filed Thursday, urged the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York to reject model Jasmine Burgess’s request to lift an automatic stay in its Chapter 11 case that would let her proceed with her proposed class action federal suit.
