Bankrupt Lucky’s Market Aims to Sell Some Stores to Publix, Aldi

Lucky’s Market Parent Company LLC yesterday entered an agreement to sell six of its stores to Publix Group LP, Christopher A. Ward of Polsinelli PC says in the company’s first-day bankruptcy hearing Tuesday in Delaware.

  • Has also cut deal to sell five locations to Aldi Stores Ltd, while investment bank PJ Solomon continues negotiating terms to sell its seven still-operational stores to an unnamed buyer, Ward says
  • Hopes to have bid procedures heard on Feb. 10 and a sale hearing on March 13, Ward says
  • Lucky’s, which had as many as 39 stores before it began closing them ...
