Imerys Talc America Inc. proposed paying more than $1.3 million worth of bonuses to a pair of senior executives and 16 other “critical” employees as it negotiates a way to reorganize in bankruptcy and deal with thousands of asbestos-related personal injury claims.
Implementing bonus programs for Imerys’ “key employees” is vital to the company’s continued operation and efforts to successfully resolve its Chapter 11 case, the Johnson & Johnson talc supplier told the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
