Bankrupt Highland Capital Seeks Sanctions Over Ex-CEO’s Suit

Highland Capital Management LP is asking a court to sanction its former CEO and his companies for improperly challenging an asset transfer that occurred during its bankruptcy case.

The Dallas-based investment company’s request to the bankruptcy court is the latest development in its ongoing, heated dispute with the former CEO, James Dondero, over the course of its Chapter 11 proceedings and the extent of his rights to influence the case.
