Bankrupt Blackstone-Backed Autism Center Set for Sale Approval

A bankruptcy judge said he will approve the Center for Autism and Related Disorders’ $48.5 million sale that it says will preserve its business and maintain care for patients.

The sale of one of the largest US treatment centers for children with autism is split into two parts. Pantogran LLC, an entity created by CARD’s founder, will pay $37.5 million for most of the company’s assets. Affiliates of Audax Management Company will pay $11 million for CARD’s business operations in Virginia.
