Baird Hires Silverman As Director For New Restructuring Group

Baird’s investment banking division hired Eli Silverman for its new restructuring advisory group, according to a company statement Thursday.

• Silverman, who joins as a director, was previously a director in Lazard Ltd.’s restructuring group
  • He earlier worked on the investment team at Z Capital Partners and in Blackstone’s restructuring division
• He’ll work with Global Head of Restructuring Advisory Durc Savini, focusing on advising corporate and financial sponsor clients
• Baird started its restructuring practice late last year after hiring Savini from Guggenheim
