CORRECT: Argentine Dollar Bonds Hit New Highs on Policy Shift

Argentine US dollar bonds reached the highest levels since the Latin American nation restructured its debt in 2020, after the government moved to loosen restrictions on currency trading and build reserves.

  • Yields on notes due in 2035 — a benchmark for the foreign-law dollar curve — slid to 9.74% Thursday, with the bond trading at 74.4 cents
