Argentina President-Elect Milei Taps Horacio Marín as YPF CEO

President-elect Javier Milei tapped Horacio Marín to serve as president and CEO of YPF, according to a spokesperson for Milei’s political party, La Libertad Avanza.

• Marín is a 35-year veteran in the oil industry, who has worked in the development and strategy of petroleum companies in the United States, Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Peru and Colombia
• The move comes after Milei commented that he wanted to privatize the state-owned oil and gas producer
