Argentina Gas Consortium Signs Deal for Second Golar FLNG (1)

Southern Energy, a consortium made up of YPF, Pan American Energy, Pampa Energia and Harbour Energy, said in a statement that is has signed a 20-year agreement with equity partner Golar to deploy a second FLNG to Argentina.

  • Golar has assigned MKII to the project after already committing Hilli Episeyo; Golar LNG shares fell 5.5% in New York, while Harbour Energy shares rose 5.6% in London
  • The two floating units combined will have capacity for 6m tons a year of LNG exports
