Argentina’s central bank will offer repos to banks starting this Wednesday as part of a new liquidity window, according to a statement published on its website.
- Rate will be an average of daily repo trades +2%
- Banks must post as collateral peso sovereign bonds with over 60 days to maturity
- Eligible bonds will be those purchased in primary auctions for the bank’s own portfolio
- The window will be open from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
