Argentina Central Bank Announces $2B Repo Agreement For June 11

Argentina’s central bank said it will have a $2-billion repurchase agreement, or repo, ready on June 11, according to a statement.

  • Argentina will allow direct subscription in USD of government securities due in one year or more starting this month, with maximum limit of $1b monthly
  • Country eliminates minimum time non-residents must keep govt securities, according to the central bank
