Argentina Bonds Slump as Milei Faces Fresh Corruption Scandal

Argentina’s dollar bonds are the worst performers in emerging markets on Monday as investors monitor the political fallout of a fresh corruption scandal involving a top government official and President Javier Milei’s sister.

  • Sovereign notes maturing in 2035 fell by more than a cent at the market opening, trading at around 64 cents on the dollar, the lowest in a month, according to data compiled by Bloomberg
