Argentine dollar bonds and currency were sliding on Monday as investors’ concerns about President
- Dollar bonds were underperforming emerging-market peers, with notes maturing in 2035 losing more than a cent to trade around 53 cents on the dollar, according to indicative pricing data compiled by Bloomberg
- The Argentine peso was down more than 0.7% at the market open, trading at 1,464 pesos per dollar, closer to the upper level of the trading band which is at 1,473.8 pesos per dollar
