Argentina Bonds Rise as Milei’s Omnibus Bill Clears General Vote

Argentina bonds were among the best performers in emerging markets early on Tuesday after President Javier Milei’s so-called omnibus bill cleared a general vote in the lower house of congress.

  • Lawmakers are set to continue voting on the bill’s dozens of individual chapters
  • Notes due 2030, 2041, 2046 gain more than 0.5 cent each for some of the best performances in EM debt
