Arena Football League Assets Head to Auction in Court Wind Down

Investors and fans of the now-defunct Arena Football League LLC have a chance to get their hands on everything from team memorabilia to intellectual property as the bankrupt organization’s assets hit the auction block.

GA Global Partners, a B. Riley Financial affiliate, will begin taking bids Tuesday on AFL assets ranging from team logos -- like those of the Philadelphia Soul or the Columbus Destroyers -- to trophies, signs and game uniforms, according to a company statement.

The Arena Football League ceased operations last year and, in November, filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, which calls for a court-supervised liquidation. ...
