Apollo-Backed Riverbed Gets Forbearance as It Seeks M&A Options

Riverbed Technology Inc. entered into a six-week forbearance agreement with lenders, after the company last week elected to skip a cash interest payment on its loan, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

The San Francisco-based information technology company has been exploring strategic options, including potential asset sales, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the matter is private.

A representative for the company declined to comment.
