Angelo Gordon Taps Tilden’s Busker, Boosts Structured Team

Angelo Gordon & Co. has hired Tilden Park Capital Management’s David Busker to lead commercial real estate debt, and promoted several credit veterans as it bolsters its structured credit platform.

Busker will join the alternative investment firm as a managing director and head of commercial real estate debt, replacing Andy Solomon who is retiring at the end of the year, according to a Monday statement. Busker will be based in New York and focus primarily on liquid commercial real estate securities investments. He will report to T.J. Durkin, Angelo Gordon’s head of structured credit.
