Americore Judge Orders Court Appointee to Take Reins from CEO

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Gregory Schaaf has directed the appointment of a Chapter 11 Trustee to take control of Americore Holdings LLC, the bankrupt hospital operator, court papers show.

  • The U.S. Trustee, Americore’s unsecured creditors and certain lenders to the company had previously requested the appointment of a Chapter 11 trustee
  • Judge ordered the U.S. Trustee to make an immediate appointment
