America’s Test Kitchen Owner Wins Auction for Recipe Site Food52

The owner of cooking television show America’s Test Kitchen won an auction to buy bankrupt recipe site Food52 Inc., beating out a higher cash bid by the business behind food brands Tasting Table and Chowhound.

F52 LLC, an affiliate of America’s Test Kitchen owner Marquee Brands LLC, won the auction with a bid valued at $9.9 million—an increase from its original $6.5 million offer, according to court records filed Feb. 6 in the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
