AMERICAS DISTRESS DAILY: Sunnova Sells Assets to Lender Group

Bankrupt solar company Sunnovasold most of its assets to climate-focused investment firm GoodFinch Management, including the firm’s residential solar servicing and operations-management platform, nearly three months after filing for bankruptcy with about $8.9 billion in funded debt.

• SunStrong Management, a renewable energy asset manager, has been hired to manage core operations of Sunnova after the purchase, with former Sunnova Chief Executive Officer Paul Mathews joining as chief revenue officer.
