AMERICAS DISTRESS DAILY: SpaceX Buys EchoStar Spectrum for $17b

SpaceX will buy EchoStar’s AWS-4 and H-block spectrum licenses for about $17 billion in cash and stock, with the Elon Musk-backed company also agreeing to fund about $2 billion in cash interest payments on EchoStar debt through November 2027.

• The deal comes less than two weeks after debt-laden EchoStar agreed to sell separate licenses to AT&T for about $23 billion
