AMERICAS DISTRESS DAILY: FCC Clears EchoStar After License Deals

The FCC haslifted the regulatory cloud over EchoStar after the company announced it’s selling $17 billion worth of wireless spectrum to SpaceX.

  • Chairman Brendan Carr said the commission would no longer be examining whether EchoStar had met milestones for building out its mobile network, according to a letter he wrote to EchoStar Chairman Charlie Ergen.
