Amazon Buys Advertising Tech Assets Out of Sizmek Bankruptcy

Amazon.com’s $30 million purchase of Sizmek Inc.'s advertising service technology and related business was approved by a New York bankruptcy judge, giving the tech giant more weight in a battle with Google for online business dominance.

The June 20 order by Judge Stuart M. Bernstein of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York overruled objections made by Sizmek’s unsecured creditors and other tech companies like Oracle, AT&T, and Hewlett-Packard Financial Services.
