Altice International Creditors Tap Houlihan Lokey for Debt Talks

Creditors to Altice International, part of billionaire Patrick Drahi’s struggling telecommunications empire, have picked Houlihan Lokey as financial adviser for debt talks with the company, according to people familiar with the matter.

Houlihan Lokey’s official appointment has yet to be finalized, the people said. The same group of creditors — which is being advised by law firm Gibson Dunn & Crutcher — also extended a cooperation agreement through March, some of the people said. They signed the original agreement earlier in the year, but it was set to expire this month, the people said.
